Daidala is the handmade silver jewellery of Eleni, a maker based in the Netherlands. This website is daidalajewellery.com. Eleni is responsible for how your information is handled here.

- We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Visitor statistics (Google Analytics) only run if you click Accept on the cookie banner.
- If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google Analytics.
Visitor statistics: Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to see how people find and use this site: which pages are visited, roughly which country or city visitors come from, what kind of device and browser they use, and which site or app sent them here. We use this only to understand what people like and to improve the site.
Google Analytics does not store your full IP address. Google acts as our processor and may handle data on servers in the United States; Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We keep these statistics for 2 months.

Hosting
The site is hosted by Google Firebase. Like every web host, it automatically records basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website.
When you contact us
If you message us about a piece or a commission, we use what you send (your name, how to reach you, and your message) only to reply and to make your piece. We keep it as long as needed for that, and for order records as long as Dutch tax law requires (7 years). Legal basis: taking steps at your request before or under an agreement.
The "notify me" sign-up
The sign-up box on the homepage doesn't store anything yet. When it does, this page will be updated first, and we'll only email you if you sign up.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to limit or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Message us at the address above and we'll reply within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

If what this site collects changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top is updated.
